The Walden Magic Model is the original "modern" longboard and one of the worlds most popular boards from Walden. Capable of riding both large and small waves you can't go wrong with it.
The hull has a unique design, the top half being concave which turns to a double concave toward the end of the board. Its got tough rails the will be very durable. The concave nose is perfect for nose riding with its lift and stability.
The board can come in a variety of flavors. First off it can be ridden as a 2+1 or with a long single fin. There are a bunch of glassing options as well. The most popular being a standard PU technology. Next lighter than PU and a little more rigid, is the SLX epoxy. Also, the newest and lightest performance model is the FutureFlex Model. The board has an EPS core and combines that construction with carbon fiber on the rails adding a springyness that isn't found in other boards. This allows for drive out of turns. The most durable of the Magic Models is the X2 shell, which has a hard epoxy around the board great for the beginner or the clumsy surfer.
